While a part of you may resist exploring therapy, another part brought you here. It considers the possibility that you can be deeply heard and known; you can trust and be trusted. That part knows it’s worth a try.
Thank you for being here. And for considering the possibilities.
My name is Anuja. I’m an integrative psychotherapist. As such, my work is informed by a diverse grouping of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and theoretic affiliations, typically within a psychodynamic or psychoanalytic framework. I support adults (ages 18+) through complex trauma, emotional suffering, and self-discovery. My approach is relationally-informed; both gentle and, when necessary, direct. It is body-focused, attachment-based and rooted in the deep listening of unconscious-to-unconscious communication.
Together, we explore the patterns beneath your struggles and create space for lasting change. We laugh. We cry. We get angry. We welcome it–whatever it is–with courage and respect, knowing it is there for a reason.
The parts of you that you’re proud of and the parts that you’d rather hide: I hold them equally, with unconditional positive regard. Until, one day, you find that you do too.
